Birth of my blog

And, so, it begins....I too join the ranks of those people who think that what they have to say is important enough to be accessed by random strangers.  What possessed me to think that I need to do this?  I certainly have enough to do without adding a self-imposed blogging requirement to my life.  But, you know what, I am kind of excited.  I guess it's like the birth of anything...without all the disgusting parts like blood and placenta....sorry, I digress.  So, like the birth of anything, the excitement is there before it actually happens, then you do this thing--hold it in your hands--and think, "This is cool, totally doable, I mean look at all the other morons who do this...if they can, surely I can."  Then, reality sets in, and you get the thing home.  "What in the world have I gotten myself into.  I have no idea what I am doing."

But, when it's all said and done, you do the best you can.
